Carbon-free mobility: a territorialized system

Project Objectives

The project aims to characterise territorial profiles for corporate mobility (individual, light or heavy vehicles) and heavy mobility (freight or passenger transport) at several scales (regional, inter-communal and local), to define the global propensity of territories to host low-emission mobility innovations (battery electricity, hydrogen electricity and bio-GNV), and to assess their local environmental impacts, in terms of CO2 emissions and local air pollutants.

EIFER’s Contribution

EIFER coordinates the project and is responsible for the dissemination and communication of the project results. EIFER will lead the activities related to the analysis of the mobility characteristics of companies and local authorities, the evaluation of the territorial potential of low-emission forms of mobility and will participate to the development of an expert analysis tool for territorial potential and visualisation.
