The ECOMET project aims at the development of an innovative power-to-gas technology, a two-in-one combination of a protonic ceramic electrolyser and a chemical reactor able to directly convert CO2 and water into e-methane.
The main results of the project have been the development of several materials, consisting in methodologies and tools, that aim to help companies, organizations and researchers, among other stakeholders, to implement a Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) for goods, services and processes.
The release of the Emerging Conclusions document marks the end of the European flagship project and highlights its contributions to hydrogen mobility, as it has supported 49 hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) and >1,400 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs), up to a third of all HRS & FCEVs deployed in Europe to date.
Gathering seven organizations from four EU countries, and with EIFER as coordinator, the HYGHER project will demonstrate the feasibility of an innovative, cost effective, and reliable high pressure value chain to transport hydrogen from production sites to refuelling stations.
A public webinar took place on 21st November to promote the HyQuality Europe project to a large audience. The webinar, organized by EIFER, was freely accessible upon online registration and primarily aimed to inform stakeholders about the scope and early results of the project.
A public event took place on 18th October at the Paris Innovation Campus by CEMIAG / Air Liquide France Industrie. During the morning, the consortium of HyQuality Europe and MetroHyVe 2 presented the state-of-the-art and recent progress of the project in a hybrid format.
This is the first data set that will populate the first European database created within HyQuality Europe.
