ORIENTING Final Results: Development of a new operational methodology to improve the sustainability of products

The main results of the project have been the development of several materials, consisting in methodologies and tools, that aim to help companies, organizations and researchers, among other stakeholders, to implement a Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA) for goods, services and processes.

Hydrogen Mobility Europe (2) Project Successfully Concludes Initiative Advancing Hydrogen Mobility in Europe

The release of the Emerging Conclusions document marks the end of the European flagship project and highlights its contributions to hydrogen mobility, as it has supported 49 hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) and >1,400 Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs), up to a third of all HRS & FCEVs deployed in Europe to date.

In the real-world lab project SoLAR in Allensbach (at Lake Constance/Germany) we demonstrate the potential of intelligent energy sector coupling. With a real-time price system on the basis of electric grid state variables, flexible appliances of every type, power and availability can be used as “virtual batteries”.
